Associate Underwriter - Commercial Lines

Job Overview As an Associate Underwriter, you will provide essential support to the underwriting team, ensuring accurate, timely review and issuance of policies. Key Responsibilities Review submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes. Rate and prepare new or renewal quotes as directed by the Underwriter. Establish handling of inspection recommendations and discrepancies. Monitor various reports for consistency. Assist with potential policy issuance and endorsement processing, including audits. Support accounting procedures such as invoicing. Enter data into multiple internet‑based systems. Qualifications At least 1 year of prior insurance experience. Property and Casualty license or ability to earn the license within 90 days (cost‑reimbursed and study support provided). Detail‑oriented with a strong work ethic. Excellent computer skills, including typing proficiency and Microsoft Office proficiency, with emphasis on Excel spreadsheets. Demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow as part of a team.
