Speech Language Pathologist (New Grads Accepted) - Omaha, NE

Job Type: Full-Time

Shifts:

Option 1:

Mon - 2:30-7:30

Tue/Thu - 8:30-7:30 (1 hour unpaid lunches)

Wed - 9:30-7:30 (the 1 hour lunch is paid as it is used for staff meetings as needed)

Sat - 7:30-12:30

Option 2:

Tue/Wed/Thu - 9:30-7:30 (same as lunches above)

Fri - 11-6:30 (30 minute unpaid lunch)

Sat - 7:30-12:30

Role & Responsibilities:

• Evaluation and treatment of students with autism and complex communication needs.
• Development of goals, objectives, treatment plans and materials for the treatment.
• Speech/language and cognitive impairments; including activities, low technology AAC, etc.
• Attendance at meetings including IEPs, weekly staffing, training/education.
• AAC evaluations, programming and implementation.
• Provide training and ongoing support to clients, families, and education teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Highly motivated to work with children with Autism and to learn the technology of speech generating devices and the application of principles from the science of learning.
• ASHA License.
• Speech Language Pathologist License in State NE
