Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility programs to restore function
• Monitor and document patient progress with precision and care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs for continued recovery
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Missouri PTA License (or eligibility to obtain)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques
• Gait training and mobility program implementation
• Patient documentation and progress tracking
• Patient education and caregiver training
• Effective communication and teamwork in a healthcare setting
