As a Security Officer - Unarmed in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to staff, visitors, and patients. Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare-related location.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned areas, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Document and report unusual activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
