Packer PositionDo you have experience working in manufacturing, packing products off conveyor lines, mechanical aptitude, working with plastic molding??? If so, we are looking for you!!!Packer compensation:Starting rate $17.92 an hour - paid weeklyPacker available shifts: Day 8AM-8PM and Nights 8PM-8AM rotating shifts 2-2-3As a packer, you will:Package product into boxes and prepare for shipmentCheck for quality issues to product and contact team lead with issuesEnsure you have enough supplies at your station (boxes, tape ect.)Keep station clean at all timesFollow safety guidelines at all timesEducation and/or experience:Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferredAbility to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.Knowledge, skills and experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Able to effectively communicate. Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.Physical demand/effort: Manufacturing work environment. Constant physical activities are required for this position. Such activities could include: ability to reach over head, squat, and bend at the waist; the ability to lift boxes from 0-50 lbs depending on the line assigned; ability to climb up and down stairs throughout a 12 hour shift; tolerance of standing posture continuously for 12 hours; intense walking is involved; able to tolerate working environment with inside excessive hot and cold temperatures.Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and clothing, when required, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat/bump cap, hair/beard net and glovesAbility to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, bend throughout the duration of the scheduled shiftProlonged standing while performing the duties of the jobJob requires high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles
