Job Opportunity: Pediatric Anesthesiologist

Our organization is seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist to enhance our expanding pediatric service line at a well-regarded academic medical center located in northern New England. This position provides a consistent and predictable schedule of clinical work without on-call duties, set within a comprehensive academic environment that integrates advanced pediatric care with a robust teaching culture.

• Engage in clinical practice approximately 40 to 50 hours weekly, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Be available for at least two consecutive weeks each month, with no overtime required.
• Collaborate within a large, supportive anesthesia department comprising physicians, advanced practice providers, and rotating residents and students.
• Manage a diverse patient population, from neonates to adults, with a primary focus on pediatric care.
• Handle routine pediatric ambulatory procedures and increasingly complex surgeries, including a rising number of pediatric neurosurgical cases.
• Work closely with the pediatric neurosurgery team in a tertiary care setting that addresses high-acuity cases across various specialties.

• Must be board certified or eligible in anesthesiology within five years.
• Completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology is essential.
• A clean malpractice history is mandatory.
• Comfort with both pediatric and adult anesthesia is required.
• Experience with the EPIC EMR system is necessary.
• Possession of or eligibility for a New Hampshire medical license is required.
• BLS certification and a valid DEA are essential.
• Applicants with pending or settled malpractice cases, or those located outside the United States, will not be considered.
