Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Bakersfield, CA

Contract Type:  Contract

Shift Type:  8-hour days, Monday-Friday, with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM and rotating weekend call

Hours per Week:  40

Candidate Pay Rate:  $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac, spect, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
• Operate GE equipment and Radnet & Merge Unity systems
• Float to Mercy Downtown location as needed
• Participate in rotating weekday and weekend call

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• BLS and CA NMTL certifications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Nuclear medicine procedures and protocols
• GE equipment operation
• Radnet & Merge Unity systems
• Patient care and communication
