Director OF Transportation

• Develop and implement line haul transportation strategy
• Employ people leadership methods to drive employee engagement and accountability
• Develop future leaders and succession planning
• Assess emerging technologies and develop a multi-year transportation technology roadmap covering execution, optimization, visibility, and AI applications
• Lead line haul network optimization efforts and exploit inbound/outbound synergies
• Drive a structured performance management program
• Manage strategic carrier relationships
• Conduct QBRs and key partnership meetings
• Partner with Procurement to ensure successful RFP outcomes, optimizing service and cost
• Drive transportation expense reduction, routing efficiency, dedicated capacity, and modal conversion opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Engineering-related field required
• 10-15 years experience in Logistics/Transportation or related field
• Retail Logistics experience preferred
