Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Pay Rate: $70.00-$75.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 5x8 Days; shift times may vary - one of the following: 0700-1500 or 0800-1600; every other weekend or 4 weekend days in a 4-week schedule
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a travel contract opportunity for a Registered Nurse/Case Manager at an Acute Hospital in Anchorage, AK. The facility is a Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma center, and USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska with 407 total staffed beds. Scrubs are provided, charting is performed in Epic, and parking is free.

Required Skills

• Must have Epic experience
• Must have Acute Care experience

Education Requirements

• AK RN License required (must be in hand for Auto Offer; pending license candidates may be screened)
• BLS certification required
• ACM (Accredited Case Manager) Certification preferred

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• On-call: Not required
• Weekend requirement: Yes - every other weekend or 4 weekend days in a 4-week schedule
• Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs
• Block schedule: Not accommodated
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks; traveler may be called off for 1 eight-hour shift per 2 weeks

• Local candidates are not accepted - candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• AK RN License must be in hand for Auto Offer; pending license candidates may be screened
• RTO Restrictions: Only 1 time-off request per 13-week assignment of 5 days or less; no holiday RTO for Auto Offer
