If you thrive on turning complex information into clear, engaging, and practical learning, this is the role where your skills will shine.What You'll DoAs our Instructional Designer, you'll collaborate with subject matter experts, leaders, and safety teams to design training that meets real-world needs. You'll use adult learning principles to develop everything from eLearning modules and job aids to instructor-led training and on-the-job learning. You'll also measure the effectiveness of your work, making sure each program translates into improved performance across the organization.A Day in the LifeEvery day brings something different. One day you might be brainstorming with engineers on how to simplify a complex process, the next you're building an interactive eLearning module that helps technicians practice safely. You'll move fluidly between creative design, data-driven evaluation, and collaboration with teams across the company, always focused on one goal: building training that sticks and drives real results.What We're Looking ForWe need someone who can balance creativity with structure, ensuring training programs are both engaging and effective. The right candidate has strong instructional design expertise, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to design for diverse learners, from shop floor technicians to managers.Position RequirementsBachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field (Master's preferred)3+ years of instructional design experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial environmentsSkilled in eLearning development tools and LMS platformsStrong grasp of adult learning theory, instructional design models, and performance improvement strategiesFamiliar with SCORM/xAPI standards and multimedia productionProfessional certifications (ATD, Kirkpatrick) preferredWhy Join Us?At Delta Star, your work will directly shape the knowledge, skills, and safety of our workforce.
