Job Full Description

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join a law firm in the Middlesex County, NJ area. This position is responsible for greeting clients and visitors, answering and directing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining the reception area, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and assist clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner.
Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls and work directly with the intake specialist to assist in inputting clients information into the database, especially when a new marketing program starts as it will may have a higher volume of calls.
Schedule consultations and appointments.
Maintain client records and assist with document management.
Receive and distribute mail, deliveries, and correspondence.
Keep the reception area organized and presentable.
Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and office equipment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional client service.
