In 2023, LUMCON expanded its programs through the opening of a maritime research and outreach facility in Houma (Blue Works) and will soon be opening a Marine Operations Center on the Houma campus.Position Overview:The Maintenance Assistant responds to assigned departmental maintenance needs and is responsible for the execution of repairs or replacement of affected equipment as assigned. The Maintenance Assistant must be familiar with a wide range of crafts including, but not limited to, landscaping, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.
