RN - Dialysis

Acute Hemodialysis Registered Nurse

This position requires three 11.5-hour shifts per week, primarily during evening hours from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Additional on-call hours on Sundays and occasional holidays may also be required.

The Acute Hemodialysis Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing bedside hemodialysis treatments in various settings. The role includes operating telemetry monitoring and managing multiple bedside hemodialysis treatments in ICUs, ED, step-down units, and other medical/surgical environments. Nurses will also set up Fresenius 2008 T machines with portable WRO 300 ROs and perform necessary regulatory testing.

Responsibilities

• Administering hemodialysis treatments while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitoring patient telemetry and responding to changes in condition.
• Setting up dialysis machines and conducting routine regulatory testing.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-5 years of acute hemodialysis experience is required.
• ACLS certification is mandatory.
• Telemetry experience is required.
