We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Engineer / Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN).

Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer / Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled  Senior Quality Engineer with 8+ years of experience in quality assurance, test automation, and enterprise application validation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in  Selenium, Java, TestNG, Cucumber Framework, Postman, REST Assured , and broad experience testing applications built on  .NET Core, WPF, Angular, and TypeScript . The role also requires working knowledge of  T-SQL, AWS Infrastructure, HTML, CSS , and modern engineering practices including  CI/CD pipelines, Terraform IaC, automation frameworks, AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, MCP servers, ITSM, audit support, and FinOps awareness .

This role is best suited for a quality-focused professional who can drive end-to-end test strategy, build scalable automation solutions, support compliance and operational processes, and work effectively across development, DevOps, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for web, API, desktop, and integrated applications
• Build and execute UI automation using  Selenium with Java ,  TestNG , and  Cucumber Framework
• Develop and maintain API test automation using  Postman and  REST Assured
• Validate applications built on  .NET Core ,  WPF ,  Angular , and  TypeScript
• Create and execute functional, integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test plans
• Work closely with developers, product owners, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure high product quality
• Validate backend data using  T-SQL queries and database testing techniques
• Support quality practices within  AWS-based infrastructure environments
• Integrate automated tests into  CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance
• Contribute to  Terraform IaC validation and deployment quality checks
• Leverage  AI coding assistants , especially  GitHub Copilot , to improve test development productivity and coverage
• Work with  MCP servers and associated test/integration scenarios where applicable
• Support  audit readiness , compliance evidence gathering, and quality documentation
• Collaborate with  ITSM processes including incident, problem, and change validation where needed
• Contribute to  FinOps-aware testing by validating system efficiency, usage visibility, and operational behaviors where relevant
• Identify, log, track, and help resolve defects through to closure
• Participate in code reviews, requirement reviews, and test strategy discussions
• Continuously improve test automation frameworks, quality processes, and release confidence

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering and test automation
• Strong hands-on experience with  Selenium ,  Java ,  TestNG , and  Cucumber Framework
• Strong experience in API testing using  Postman and  REST Assured
• Experience testing applications built using  .NET Core
• Experience validating UI applications built with  Angular ,  TypeScript ,  HTML , and  CSS
• Exposure to  WPF application testing
• Strong knowledge of  T-SQL for backend/database validation
• Working knowledge of  AWS Infrastructure in the context of testing and deployment environments
• Experience integrating automated testing with  CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with  Terraform IaC and infrastructure validation concepts
• Experience with test automation strategy, framework design, and scalable test suite maintenance
• Familiarity with  AI coding assistants , particularly  GitHub Copilot
• Exposure to  MCP servers
• Knowledge of  ITSM processes , audit support activities, and enterprise quality controls
• Understanding of automation best practices, defect lifecycle, and SDLC/STLC methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
• Experience working in  Agile/Scrum delivery environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with enterprise or regulated environments requiring audit and compliance support
• Familiarity with cloud-native testing practices and environment-based validation
• Understanding of release validation across development, UAT, and production-like environments
• Experience with performance, security, or non-functional testing is a plus
• Exposure to financial governance or  FinOps practices is advantageous
• Experience with test reporting dashboards and quality metrics
