Endoscopy - Nursing

Schedule - Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.

Assignment Details - Contract Length: Not specified. - Guaranteed Hours: Not specified.

Requirements - Current RN license in the state or compact state. - ACLS and BLS certifications required. - Minimum of 2 years of endoscopy experience. - Experience in community hospital and Trauma Level I/II setting preferred. - EMR experience with Epic required.

Roles & Responsibilities - Assist in endoscopy procedures including EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCP, EUS, and advanced interventional GI procedures. - Provide peri-procedure care including pre/post-procedure, recovery, and monitoring/administration of conscious sedation. - Perform procedural roles such as circulating and specimen handling/labeling. - Support bronchoscopies as needed. - Recognize and manage dysrhythmias.

Compliance / Notes - Orientation: 20 hours. - All compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start. - Maximum of 7 days of time-off allowed per contract, finalized at time of submission.
