Team members contribute directly to the wellbeing of passengers and the communities served. Role Description The Lead Recruiter is a full-time, hybrid role based in Brighton, MI. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for drivers, dispatch staff, and administrative professionals, ensuring staffing levels meet operational needs. Day-to-day work includes sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting interviews, coordinating hiring decisions with leadership, and overseeing onboarding processes. The Lead Recruiter will maintain accurate recruitment metrics, collaborate with management to forecast hiring needs, and refine recruiting strategies to attract qualified, safety-focused talent. This position also supports employer branding efforts, builds relationships with local community organizations and schools, and ensures all hiring practices align with legal and company standards. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection. Ability to design and improve recruitment processes, including job postings, pipelines, and onboarding workflows. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with hiring managers and engage candidates professionally. Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR software, and common job boards or social media for recruiting. Knowledge of relevant employment laws and best practices for equitable, non-discriminatory hiring. Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple open roles and deadlines. Previous recruiting experience in transportation, logistics, healthcare, or related industries is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is a plus.
