Clinical Pharmacist Specialist In Oncology

The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist in Oncology at Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, MD works at the center of in-patient interdisciplinary care, collaborating directly with prescribers and mentoring pharmacy support staff in our newly designed comprehensive Cancer Institute at Sinai Hospital for children and adults.

Responsibilities: Under limited supervision, plans, coordinates, implements and administers the post-graduate pharmacy education training program. Demonstrates understanding for institutional, core, and program requirements as stated by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Under limited supervision, provides a higher level of direct patient care pharmacy services for an assigned, specialized patient population to assure adequate patient care according to professional standards and practices.

Experience: Required: 3-5 years Education: Required: PharmB or MScPhm or PharmD Education Note: PGY-1 + PGY-2 residency (Ambulatory Care Residency Preferred) or PGY-1 residency plus 2 additional years of relevant direct patient care experience, or four post-graduate practice years of relevant direct patient care experience + board certification is required Licensures & Certifications: Required: Pharmacist License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist

Pay Range: $57.92 to $86.88 Based On Experience
