Outside Sales Representative

Our client, a leading company in the waste management industry, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join their team. The company is dedicated to providing comprehensive waste collection and recycling solutions to businesses and communities, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing accounts within an assigned territory. This role involves identifying potential clients, conducting sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably within the waste management industry, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development: Identify and target potential customers within the assigned territory to generate new sales opportunities.
• Sales Presentations: Conduct in-person meetings and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits of the company's waste collection and recycling services.
• Account Management: Maintain and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Contract Negotiation: Prepare and negotiate sales contracts with clients, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and comply with company policies.
• Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to effectively position the company's services.
• Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing any inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.
• Sales Reporting: Track and report sales activities, pipeline progress, and market feedback to the Sales Manager regularly.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the waste management or related industry.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Skills:

• Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
