Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Oncology - General/Other in Greenville, SCSalviaCore SolutionsGreenville, SC, United States**Description**Doctor of Medicine | Oncology - General/Other Location: Greenville, SC Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities The provider will manage a comprehensive caseload, typically seeing 25 patients per day in an outpatient setting and approximately 20 patients per day during hospital rounding. The practice volume consists of approximately 65% benign hematology and 35% malignant oncology. Key clinical duties include participating in Tumor Boards, management of bone marrow transplants, overseeing blood banks, ordering diagnostic tests and imaging, and prescribing appropriate treatments. While a Nurse Oncologist handles the direct administration of chemotherapy, the physician is responsible for clinical oversight and orders. Documentation is performed using the EPIC EMR system. Qualifications & Credentialing To ensure a seamless transition and high standards of patient care, candidates must meet the following requirements: Board Certification: Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology is required. Licensure: An active South Carolina medical license. Certifications: Current BLS and DEA certifications. Background: A clean background is required for emergency temporary privileges; a Self-Query NPDB report must be provided at the time of presentation (pulled within the last 30 days). Availability: Candidates must disclose if they are able to provide a minimum of two weeks of coverage per month. Inpatient Proficiency: Candidates must be willing and able to participate in both inpatient and outpatient coverage.
