Job Description:

Responsible for providing critical care to postoperative cardiac surgery patients in a 16-bed CVICU using advanced monitoring and equipment. The RN will collaborate within a strong team of nurses and an intensivist available 24/7 in the unit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS.
• Perform central line insertion, swan insertion, intubations, and other procedures on unit.
• Maintain strong critical care skills, specifically in CVICU settings.

Requirements:

• Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience.
• Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required.
• Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT.
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS.
