Associate Tax Accountant

Summary
This position is responsible for Indirect Tax Compliance which includes, but is not limited to, sales & use tax/miscellaneous tax return preparation, tax return review, tax accounting analysis and reporting, tax payments, budgeting, license renewals and various tax analyses as requested.
Responsibilities
- Prepares necessary tax returns and submits required payments
- Ensures deadlines are met for tax returns, payments, and financial reporting
- Prepares reconciliations of the Indirect Tax returns/balances to the general ledger
- Prepares accounting adjustments as necessary
- Prepares necessary license renewals and submits required payments
- Performs tax research - identifies areas of concern and communicates results in a clear & concise manner, and documents appropriately
- Assists with Indirect tax audits
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
- BBA or BS in accounting
- 1-3 years' accounting experience
