I&E Technician IV

Job Title I&E Technician IV – Phoenix, AZ – Carrier Gases – On-site – TSMC Air Liquide Electronics Position Overview Air Liquide Electronics offers ultra‑pure carrier gases, specialty gases and advanced precursor molecules. The I&E Technician IV will maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation at the plant, ensuring safe distribution, purification, and online purity control. Pay and Benefits Pay: $40.00–$45.00 per hour. Responsibilities Maintain instrumentation (valves, transmitters, PLCs, analyzers, etc.) and perform troubleshooting, repair, testing, and documentation. Coordinate and execute preventative and corrective maintenance, including calibrations and CMMS record keeping. Lead instrumentation projects from scoping to implementation, preparing scope of work, scheduling, and ensuring quality outcomes with contractors. Support the instrumentation spare parts program: placing purchase requisitions, receiving, and inventory management. Assist other maintenance crafts and collaborate with production technicians, maintenance coordinator, and plant manager on daily facility needs. Uphold safety (Safe Work Permit, Pre‑Job Plans, LOTOs, hot‑work and confined‑space safety) and support zero personal injuries. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 6+ years of I&E industry experience. Knowledge of transmitters, PLCs, analyzers, valves for industrial gas environments. Familiar with analyzer (gas chromatograph) operation, calibration, and maintenance. Ability to read electrical and PLC diagrams; work on electrical equipment up to 480V. Climb ladders (up to 50ft) and work off elevated platforms/surfaces; work in non‑conditioned environments; enter confined spaces. Must wear appropriate PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, FRC, steel‑toed shoes); range of motion; lift 50lbs. Availability for callouts, nights, weekends, and possible holidays; some travel required.
