As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will welcome visitors, support access screening procedures, and provide outstanding customer service while helping maintain an orderly environment. Using a computer or tablet as needed, you will communicate clearly with patients, guests, and staff, report security-related concerns, and help to deter incidents through a professional, visible presence. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Screen individuals entering the healthcare location in accordance with established procedures, which may include verifying access requirements and directing visitors to appropriate areas. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel when needed. Maintain accurate screening-related records and communicate observations, concerns, and access issues to site leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, waiting areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
