Description

Under the supervision of the Chief Clinical Services Officer, the Clinical Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy, nutrition education, and patient-centered nutrition care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy, treatment, and follow-up.
• Provide individual and group nutrition education.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to support patient outcomes.
• Develop nutrition protocols and provide provider education as needed.
• Obtain prior authorizations, complete billing, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support nutrition program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Professional experience and education required for Clinical Dietitian practice. Strong communication, organization, and patient education skills. Ability to work collaboratively with providers and healthcare teams. Professional, ethical, adaptable, and committed to the mission of Ampla Health.
