Location: Fort Worth, TX | Onsite Pay: $20–$23 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM Role Impact We are seeking an experienced Settlements Coordinator to support contractor payroll, Owner Operator settlements, and broker carrier payments. In this role, you'll help ensure accurate and timely payments while working closely with Accounting, Operations, and transportation partners. Your attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines will help keep daily operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Process and reconcile weekly settlements and payments for Owner Operators, Independent Contractors, Agents, and Broker Carriers Review fuel reports, load pay, truck charges, tolls, fuel taxes, reimbursements, and settlement deductions for accuracy Audit settlement reports, check runs, invoices, rate confirmations, and proofs of delivery before releasing payments Communicate with contractors, carriers, terminals, Accounting, and Management to resolve payment discrepancies and obtain approvals Maintain accurate spreadsheets, payment records, and electronic documentation; verify banking information and process payment exports Minimum Qualifications 2–3 years of transportation or trucking industry experience, including direct experience with Owner Operator settlements, contractor payroll, or broker carrier payments Advanced 10-key and data entry skills with demonstrated accuracy in high-volume financial transactions Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict payment deadlines Core Tools & Systems Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Contractor settlement and transportation payment systems AS400 / IBM i (preferred) ICC transportation software (preferred) Infinium financial software (preferred) Preferred Skills Experience processing over-the-road (OTR) trucking settlements and broker carrier invoices Familiarity with fuel tax charges, settlement audits, and transportation accounting procedures Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and handle confidential financial information LEGAL NOTICE By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
