PRN Family Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings, meeting patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient encounters as determined. Lead clinic staff—X‑ray technologists, nurses, and front‑office specialists—in delivering excellent patient care. Maintain accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis. Implement clinical and telehealth protocols outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, responsibly prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostics and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and reliable information. Advise clinical leadership and, when appropriate, elevate concerns to management to ensure strong patient care and resolution of issues, adhering to company values. Ensure all provider activities comply with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA, and maintain knowledge of health information management issues. Actively engage with team members to support excellent patient care and maintain a positive work atmosphere. Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, and provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities to support their training. Perform other duties as assigned by management and satisfy scheduling requirements (PRN minimum 4 shifts per month; full‑time 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend). Qualifications and Experience Requirements Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN). At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice such as urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER or trauma unit, or family medical practice. Current active license and DEA registration in good standing; DOT certification for full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days of employment. Proven experience working as a telehealth clinician. Licensure and Certification Applicants must possess a valid nursing license in the state of employment and a DEA license. Providers must meet any credentialing requirements necessary to treat all ages and obtain required certifications, including DOT certification for full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days of employment.
