Part-Time | Food Server

At Saint Mary of the Woods, we are seeking to add multiple Servers to our team! We openings on the following shifts:

-3 openings for: 7:00am - 2:00pm (four days a week)

-1 opening for: 11:00am - 7:00pm (two days a week)

-1 opening for: 6:00am - 2:00pm (four days a week)

-3 openings for: 7:00am - 2:00pm (three days a week)

Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.59 per hour (based on experience) *Same Day Pay Available*

As a Server in our senior living community, you'll help create warm, memorable dining experiences-prepping and plating delicious meals, supporting safe and tidy kitchen operations, delivering trays with care, and making our dining room feel welcoming for residents and their families. -Assist with food preparation and meal service in accordance with resident diet orders, menu standards, and portion guidelines

-Support safe food handling, sanitation, and infection control practices following state, local, and facility regulations

-Prepare and portion food items according to therapeutic and modified diet requirements as directed

-Assist with tray line service, meal delivery, and dining room support to ensure positive resident dining experiences

-Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, serving areas, and equipment

-Work collaboratively with dining team members and supervisors to ensure efficient meal service

-Support a welcoming, customer-focused dining environment for residents, families, and guests

Qualifications

-Ability to interact respectfully and positively with residents, families, and team members

-Ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented dining environment

-Reliable attendance and strong professional work habits

-Ability to read and understand English and follow verbal and written instructions

-Ability to comply with all federal, state, and local health regulations, including required post-offer screenings

-Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation

Experience Preferred

-One year of food service experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or long-term care dining

-Experience following diet orders, portion control standards, and food safety procedures
