Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. This position is designed for experienced nurses passionate about providing comprehensive care to patients during their labor and delivery process.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including neonates and adults.
Utilize effective communication strategies, including the SBAR method, to ensure seamless information transfer among healthcare team members.
Participate in special procedures as required in a 15-bed Labor and Delivery unit that supports inpatient rooming with infants.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Scheduling and Coverage

Night shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00.
Weekend coverage required every other weekend.
Flexible scheduling options available.

This position utilizes the OMNICELL medication management system for efficient medication administration.

Required Certifications

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Required
BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - Required
AWHONN Advanced - Preferred
AWHONN Beginner - Required
AWHONN Intermediate - Preferred

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
First-time applicants will be screened for relevant experience.
