Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Nights

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team in a Progressive Care Unit setting
• Manage and provide care to patients presenting with conditions such as CHF, DKA, stroke, sepsis, pacemaker, ablation, angiogram, TCAR, and EVAR
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 (may extend to 1:5 based on unit needs)
• Float as required to all inpatient areas and the Emergency Department, including across local campuses within the same discipline
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a PCU or comparable setting
• Active Iowa RN license or compact nursing license (must reflect Active status)
• Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military certificates also accepted)
• Active ACLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military certificates also accepted)
• Active NIHSS Certification
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Familiarity with stroke, cardiac, and vascular patient populations
• Comfort floating to Emergency Department and various inpatient units
