THE ROLE

As a Food & Beverage Runner, you are the vital link between our kitchen, our bar, and our guests. You make sure every dish and every drink leaves correct, complete, and beautifully presented, then arrives at the right table, to the right guest, at exactly the right moment. Working hand in hand with the expo, chefs, bartenders, and servers, you keep service moving with speed, precision, and care. Your attention to detail and sense of timing are what keep a busy dining room running seamlessly.

• Run food from the expo line to guests promptly, following correct seat and table positions
• Run beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks, from the bar to guests quickly, so drinks arrive fresh and at their best
• Verify every plate and every drink for accuracy, quality, garnish, and presentation before it leaves the kitchen or bar
• Know the food and beverage menus, including ingredients, preparations, garnishes, and allergens, so you can answer questions and flag special requests
• Handle plates, glassware, and trays with impeccable care and presentation
• Follow all foodsafety, beveragehandling, and sanitation standards, and support responsible alcohol service at every step
• Keep the expo window, bar handoff area, line, and runner stations clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work, including stocking plates, glassware, sauces, garnishes, linens, and bread service
• Communicate clearly with chefs, expo, bartenders, and servers to keep service seamless
• Work as one team with front and back of house to deliver an exceptional guest experience
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Previous restaurant or foodservice experience; fine dining, upscale, or highvolume settings are a strong plus
• Solid knowledge of food and beverage handling, sanitation, and safety standards
• Excellent time management and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced kitchen and dining room
• The stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays and hot plates throughout a shift
• Genuine, energetic hospitality and a guestfirst mindset
• Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to quality on every plate
