Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Expert
Job Type: Contractor
Location: Remote – United States
We are seeking experienced Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Experts to support an AI-focused project. You will create, review, and evaluate federal and military-style reports while applying established documentation, reporting, and compliance standards.
No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities- Create and review WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries, and briefings .
- Develop clear, accurate content following federal and military reporting standards.
- Evaluate sample reports using grading criteria and quality standards.
- Develop reference responses, guidelines, and evaluation rubrics.
- Provide expert feedback on reporting structure, clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
- Collaborate remotely with project teams to improve deliverables.
- 3+ years of experience in federal reporting or staff writing, preferably within the Department of Defense.
- Experience with military or federal reporting formats and documentation standards.
- Background with one or more branches of the US military preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of federal compliance and reporting practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint .
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- US-based with experience handling confidential federal or military documentation.
