RN PsychiatricSalem, MA 01970On-site.Contract.13 Weeks (Extendable).Either Day/Evening Rotation or Night shift.Healthcare$55/hr to $68/hr.Open until filled.POSITION OVERVIEW:30-bed unit, adults ages 18-65. We treat patients with diverse types of mental health issues (anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, dual diagnosis patients: Detox here on the unit while treating mental health issues), and some medically acute patients (IVs, CPAPs, Wound Care, diabetic care).ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Proficient in using automatic medication dispensing system (Omni Cell); proficient in the use of psychotropic medications and side effects. Able to assume the role of charge nurse; able to complete admissions and discharges.
