**Experience and Skills Required:** - Minimum of 2 years experience required - First time travelers are acceptable - Experience with EPIC charting system required - STEMI and Stroke facility experience required - Skills and experience in BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), general emergency department (combined adult/pediatric), gunshot wounds, head injury, ICP monitoring, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, management of dysrhythmias, near drowning, neuro-trauma, non-trauma emergency department, ortho trauma, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, spinal cord injury, starting and maintaining IVs, traumatic amputation, traumatic brain injury, triage, and dysrhythmia interpretation/EKG test **Certifications Required:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) **Preferred Experience:** - Experience in a community hospital preferred - LTAC (Long Term Acute Care) experience preferred - Trauma Level I and II experience preferred **Licensure and Other Requirements:** - License in hand required with submission - COVID-19 Vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) - Flu Vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) - Local Radius: 50 miles. No Locals accepted - All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, allowed two attempts - All education must be verified through a third party and cannot be from schools listed on the Diploma Fraud Florida Education Audit list - Compliance requires a full compliance file by 12 noon EST by the Wednesday prior to start date **Special Populations and Unit Details:** - Special care populations include cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health. - The hospital specialties include a cath lab, women's health, and stroke care. - This department cares for all ages: neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics. **Scheduling and Shifts:** - 3x12s, Nights, 7p-7:30a and occasionally 3p-3a if needed - Up to every other weekend (EOW) and holiday coverage as needed - No call required
