What you will do:

• Work under the general direction of a registered professional engineer
• Perform design calculations
• Utilize Computer Aided Drafting Design (CADD) to assist with design work
• Prepare construction plans for Abandoned Mine Land (AML) reclamation projects
• Obtain and/or assist staff in obtaining applicable permits
• Conduct inspection oversight of AML project construction as needed
• Starting hourly pay of $33.52/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 7.5 years of service, with an end salary of $49.18/hr.
• There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. For more details, refer to the OCSEA pay range schedule & longevity rates OCSEA Employees | Department of Administrative Services .

Qualifications

Engineering degree from recognized school or college which has been accredited by accreditation board for engineering & technology AND valid certificate as Engineer-In-Training issued by State Licensing Board AND 1 yr. engineering related experience.
