Join Team Novo Nordisk and help us make what matters.The PositionThe Analyst, Production Support - Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EH&S) is responsible for the implementation of environment, health, and safety programs for the Bloomington facility. This position works with all departments to ensure safety is incorporated in the daily work plans and schedules. The Analyst also ensures compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements.RelationshipsReports to Manager or above.Essential FunctionsAssist in the execution of an effective EH&S program that meets all regulatory requirementsDraft necessary SOPs covering EH&S related activitiesProvide training on EH&S procedures and policiesAssist in ensuring audit program is implemented and followedAssist in conducting and updating risk assessments with assistance from EH&S ManagerConduct annual agency reporting with assistance from EH&S ManagerAssist in leading the Safety Committee members through scheduled monthly meetings and help conduct monthly site auditsAssist the Safety Committee in developing metrics for measuring audit response time and establishing timelines for implementing various EH&S programsEnsure contractor EH&S compliance and work with various departmentsConduct incident reporting with workers comp and annual reporting to OSHAFollow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of dutiesOther duties as assignedPhysical RequirementsFrequent sitting, standing, walking, reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen, reaching with hands and arms, talking, writing, listening. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, grasping. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Must comply with EHS responsibilities for the position. Working conditions will be heating ventilation and air condition controlled. Working in a lab environment will require working with skin irritants, lung irritants, electrical equipment, sharp instruments, toxic materials, and hazardous waste.
