- Develop and implement INRMP objectives for wildlife and habitat management, enhancement and protection, staffing through appropriate chain of command for major command approval.
- Prepare and execute annual budget and work plans to support wildlife, habitat, and sensitive species programs, determining personnel, equipment, and material requirements, justifying projects and funding requests.
- Develop protocols, reports, correspondence, and annual work plans.
- Provides oversight of professional and technical workers within the wildlife section to include both Department of Army civilians and contract employees.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license and be able to obtain and maintain a government driver's license to operate a four-wheel drive pick-up truck.
- A Tier 1 non-sensitive background is required throughout this appointment
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- This position requires a 1 year probationary period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. Continued employment requires written certification that it advances the public interest.
