Production Supervisor 3rd Shift

Production SupervisorCome grow as a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR! The Production Supervisor is responsible for a line of molding machines, secondary machinery, and operating personnel. It is a hands-on position to demonstrate leadership and production expertise.We are looking for a detail oriented, organized, safety focused, team player.Pay Starting from $26.12/hrYour Schedule 3rd Shift: Monday Through Friday 10 PM to 6:30 AM, $2.50 an hour shift differentialYour ResponsibilitiesServe as person in charge in the event of a facility alarm, safety incident, personnel conflict, or other incident requiring leadership to resolve during the shiftOversee the production and inspection required in each machine to meet the production scheduleOversee and cover production line with breaks and lunch so all machines stay operational by maintaining a set schedule for breaks and lunchesAdjust accordingly to changing situations and shift changesTroubleshoot molding issues and adjust accordinglyReview and complete daily reports and all paperworkPartner with the quality, and maintenance departments to ensure problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials are resolved correctly in a timely mannerPerform colorant and foil changes according to scheduled runsCompliance with ISO 9001 standard and 5S Visual Workplace/Lean ManufacturingMaintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functionsOther duties as assigned by the Plant Manager or Production ManagerOperate forklift as neededBe accountable for decisions that impact production during shiftThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor.What We Would Love About You:· High school diploma or GED equivalent.· 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.· Experience in an Injection Molding environment or plastics processing industry a plus.· Excellent mechanical/machine set-up, repair, and trouble-shooting knowledge.· Experience in an environment that promotes safety.· Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.· Computer skills including Microsoft products.· Forklift experience or willingness to be forklift certified.· Effective communication skills.· Strong organizational and prioritization skills.What you would love about us:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveVision insurance
