Growing together.As a part time, nonexempt Staff Pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.This position will rotate between Garfield Park, Hartgrove and Riveredge hospitalSchedule: Weekend and PTO coverage as neededAbout the Facility: Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital provides acute inpatient and partial hospitalization programs for pediatric children ages 3 to 11 and adolescent children ages 12 to 17.Primary Responsibilities:Review, verify, and dispense medication orders to ensure appropriateness, safety, and accuracyProvide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoringCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize medication regimens for hospitalized patientsOversee sterile and non-sterile compounding activities, ensuring compliance with USP and hospital standardsMonitor patient outcomes and medication safety, identifying and preventing adverse drug eventsSupervise and support pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring efficient and compliant workflowEnsure regulatory and accreditation compliance, including Joint Commission, state, and federal requirementsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:BS or PharmD from an accredited School of PharmacyIllinois Pharmacist licensure in good standingRecent work experience as a PharmacistAbility to solve problems, establish trust and credibilityDemonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns, and work cooperatively with other staffPreferred Qualification:Experience in a behavioral health settingPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44 - $79 per hour based on full-time employment.
