Position Summary: If you are looking to truly make an impact in an under-served area, this would be a great opportunity. Spanish bilingual candidates are preferred but not required. Practitioner will interview patients and construct comprehensive medical histories. Provides appropriate patient education by explaining the diagnosis and treatment plan. Instructs patients about health maintenance and preventive care. Provides continuity of care. Directly performs or orders appropriate diagnostic studies and interprets finished results. Oversees the maintenance of adequate, concise, legible and up-to-date documentation of patient care. Makes note of problem medical, medication and discharge records, drug allergies, lab orders, subjective and objective data, diagnostic procedures, patient education and treatment. 2+ years' experience in the NP role. Candidate must be BC/BE, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospitals medical staff credentialing standards. Education: Bachelor's Degree: Preferred Required Licenses/Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in state of practice: Required Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice: Required OR Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in state of practice: Required Benefits: Wage Scale: $132,384 - $198,577 Salary based on experience. Starting Bonus Performance Based Bonus CEU allowance plus 5 paid days for Full Time Employment. License, DEA, Board Certifications, Associations Fees allowance Student Loan Assistance Program (paid over 5 years) Malpractice coverage through Adventist Health Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage through Adventist Health PTO accrual per 80 hours worked and years of service.
