Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Activity Aide to join our team at Riverwood Health and Rehabilitation. As a CNA Activity Aide, you will play a vital role in promoting the quality of life and independence of our residents. Our goal is to provide exceptional care and services that allow our residents to live their lives to the fullest.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed

• Provide recreational activities and social events to engage residents and promote socialization

• Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition to the nursing staff

• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Participate in training and continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments

Requirements:

• Current CNA certification in the state of Florida

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with assistive devices, as needed

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly

• Reliable transportation to and from work
