Enjoy flexible hybrid work arrangements and attractive benefits.Job DescriptionAssistant Vice President, Banking FP&A OverviewThe Assistant Vice President, Banking FP&A will support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for the Banking line of business.Collaborate across multiple business partners and teams to align data and regulatory requirements with local and head office standards.Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management, focusing on business revenues, cost drivers, and performance metrics.Enhance reporting processes to streamline data production and improve decision-making quality.Leverage the strong brand and culture of a top-tier global bank with attractive benefits and flexible work arrangements.Contribute to cross-functional projects, including revenue forecasting and expense productivity initiatives.Utilize expertise in banking industry practices and multi-entity reporting structures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.Work in a hybrid environment offering flexibility and a collaborative culture with significant growth opportunities.Assistant Vice President, Banking FP&A Key Responsibilities & DutiesPrepare presentations and reports for senior management, including financial analytics, business revenues, and cost drivers.Maintain data reporting standards and integrity for Banking LOB as per head office requirements.Develop detailed budget versus actual variance reports to support decision-making and monitor performance.Enhance reporting and budgeting processes to streamline financial data production.Collaborate with Finance, back office, and front office teams to analyze trends in revenues, expenses, and KPIs.Maintain reporting hierarchies and mappings to ensure data integrity across systems.Monitor monthly allocation and inter-entity reconciliations to ensure accuracy.Assist in planning and executing cross-functional projects, including revenue forecasting and expense initiatives.Assistant Vice President, Banking FP&A Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business-related majors; CPA or CFA preferred.Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services, with 2 years in business planning and financial analysis.Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP tools such as Hyperion, Anaplan, PeopleSoft, and OneStream.Strong understanding of banking products and their revenue/expense relationships.Excellent problem-solving, communication skills, and attention to detail.Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS; knowledge of general ledger concepts preferred.Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities effectively while delivering timely information.Experience with organization hierarchy and income statement structures across business lines and entities.
