Required Qualifications One year of recent experience as a Surgical First Assistant RN Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA or CRNFA) certification Valid RN license in compliance with state regulation Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification Preferred Qualifications ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification Other relevant certifications and licenses as required Summary The Surgical First Assistant provides advanced care and directly assists surgeons throughout surgical procedures, including pre‑operative assessment, intra‑operative assistance, and post‑operative care management. The role requires exceptional surgical skills, critical thinking, excellent communication, and a dedication to the highest standards of patient safety and professional ethics in the operating room.
