About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic therapy team. As a Full-Time Occupational Therapist, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy programs for our residents. Your expertise will help restore functional abilities, promote independence, and improve overall well-being. Responsibilities: Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve identified goals Implement and modify occupational therapy programs to promote independence, mobility, and cognitive function Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and address resident needs Educate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques, safety measures, and strategies to promote independence Document resident progress, goals, and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited program Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Kansas Minimum 0 years of experience in a SNF or long-term care setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members What We Offer: Competitive rates and benefits $5K Sign on Bonus #J-18808-Ljbffr Peaks Healthcare Consulting
