Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing exceptional patient care, primarily focusing on orthopedic cases. The RN will work within a supportive environment that emphasizes great communication and time management skills.

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with orthopedic diagnoses.

Collaborate with healthcare team members for an optimal patient care experience.

Monitor patients' vital signs and health statuses, utilizing telemetry as necessary.

Assist patients in their recovery by providing education and emotional support.

Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certifications.

Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Strong communication and time management skills are essential.

Ability to read telemetry strips, although techs will monitor patients' vital signs.

Flexibility to float to other medical/telemetry units as needed.

12-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5-6:1.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) are available with a ratio of 12 patients per tech.

Experience with CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow patient care is preferred.

12-hour shifts, scheduled by the manager, with no guarantee for block scheduling.

Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Two shadow or orientation shifts will be provided prior to independent practice.

Navy blue scrubs are the required dress code.
