Radiology - Ultrasound / Sonographer

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Shift is Monday 1:00pm-11:30pm and Friday-Sunday 7:00am-5:30pm.

The Diagnostic Imaging teams utilize state-of-the-art imaging technology to provide health care teams with essential information for fast, accurate diagnoses. Imaging services include X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, CT Scan, Digital Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound services, as well as PET-CT scans for advanced diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of the patient during procedures.
• Interpret ultrasound data and provide preliminary results to healthcare team.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functionality of imaging technology.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals for patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ARDMS credentials (or equivalent) in Abdomen required.
• ARDMS credentials (or equivalent) in OB/GYN specialties required.
• Current unencumbered Oregon license in Sonography required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider BLS required.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
