Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other clinical disciplines
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care delivery

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months is required; Cerner experience within the last 5 years also required — each work history entry must identify the charting system used, with dates provided if multiple EMR systems were used at a single employer
• Basic Life Support (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM / TEAM-A) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Previous acute care facility experience
