Are you ready to make a difference? Midway Staffing is seeking dedicated individuals like you to join our team, as kitchen cabinet Painters.

Position: Painter

Location: Gentry, AR

Shift: 6:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 6 am to 12 noon on Fridays

Pay: $12.42 per hour

Job Description:

Work in a production environment, engage in continuous production activity, and meet time constraints. Use painting equipment in a production environment. You will be held accountable for the quality and accuracy of your work. Check the products for accuracy and make any adjustments. You may be expected to interact with other departments to complete their daily assignments.

Qualifications / Job Skills:

• Must understand and learn or have experience operating a paint gun.
• Must be able to understand and learn or have experience in the operation and set up of a paint booth.
• Can understand and learn or have experience painting by following a pattern or template.
• Must be able to concentrate in a busy work environment and be detail-oriented.
• Must be able to use essential hand and measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers.
• Must be able to perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
• Previous experience in industrial paint at some level of skill set is desired.
• This position requires standing for extended periods and occasionally involves lifting heavy objects.

Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Paint Experience Preferred

Other Duties as Assigned:

Other duties could include working in different areas to provide support during absences/staff shortages.

Safety:

• Interpret company policies for workers and enforce safety regulations.
• Initiate and maintain proper and necessary safety equipment as prescribed by law.
• Operate tools, equipment, and machinery in accordance with prescribed safety procedures.
• Follow established safety procedures and techniques, and perform job duties that may include lifting, climbing, etc.
• Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the supervisor immediately.
