Job Description

Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting learners in a vibrant school community. Two unique opportunities are available: a maternity leave position from August 19, 2026, to October 31, 2026, and a part-time assignment running from August 19, 2026, to July 14, 2027. Both roles offer the chance to deliver impactful services in an engaging educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • State licensure (or eligibility) for Vermont
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for supporting K-12 populations
  • Passion for helping students achieve communication goals and succeed academically

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to K-12 students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
  • Complete evaluations, maintain documentation, and participate in meetings as required
  • Focus solely on contracted responsibilities—no bus duty, parent pickup, or other extra-district tasks

Experience a healthy work-life balance with guaranteed hours and compensation for both direct and indirect services. Travel professionals may also be eligible for housing and travel stipends, providing additional support during your assignment. Full-time employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, and 401(k) plans.

If you are committed to helping students find their voice and thrive, this contract opportunity offers the chance to focus on clinical excellence without added administrative burdens. Bring your expertise and passion to a welcoming Vermont community. Apply today to take the next step in your career!

Compensation for this position ranges from $32.43 to $52.43. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
