We are seeking a Low Voltage Technician to join our Residential SmartHome Electrical team in Elkhorn, WI. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced lowvoltage lighting and control systems in residential and light commercial environments. This role places strong emphasis on Lutron Ketra intelligent lighting systems, including tunable white and fullspectrum lighting integrated with RadioRA 3 and HomeWorks platforms. The technician ensures all work meets applicable codes, safety standards, and client design intent while delivering a premium lighting experience.

Install and commission lowvoltage lighting systems in compliance with NEC, NFPA, and manufacturer specifications.
Follow Lutron installation standards for Ketra fixtures, power supplies, drivers, and control components.
Complete accurate documentation including asbuilt drawings, system configurations, and commissioning records.

Collaborate with homeowners, designers, project managers, and electricians to deliver integrated lighting solutions.
Provide client education on lighting scenes, dimming, and system operation.

Troubleshoot system faults related to controls, power distribution, networking, and fixtures.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Successful installation and commissioning of Lutron Ketra lighting systems as well as all other low-voltage electrical projects
Compliance with electrical and lowvoltage code requirements
Client satisfaction and feedback on lighting performance
Accuracy and completeness of documentation and system labeling
Timely completion of installations and service tasks
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical school or associate degree preferred.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
2+ years of lowvoltage experience with preference for Lutron lighting control systems, 5+ years preferred.
Handson experience with Lutron Ketra, RadioRA 3, and/or HomeWorks strongly preferred.
Understanding of tunable white and fullspectrum lighting concepts.
Ability to interpret lighting plans, elevations, and control schematics.
Knowledge of NEC and applicable lowvoltage installations.
Lutron certification or willingness to obtain certification.
OSHA 10/30 certification a plus.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in residential and light commercial environments, including occupied homes. Physical demands include standing, climbing ladders, working overhead, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in tight or finished spaces. Attention to cleanliness and detail is required when working in highend residential settings.
