Position Snapshot The maintenance position is vital to the overall cleanliness and first impression of the Guests. Our maintenance staff is responsible for cleaning, repairing, and maintaining the interior and exterior of the building. Responsibilities Deliver an unparalleled Guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating fun. Keep the immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all significant problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternative courses of action. Safely and correctly operate all equipment. Use all chemicals properly in the correct quantities for safety and cost control. Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Control costs by avoiding overstocking or misuse of materials. Clean and maintain kitchen and dish areas, floors, walls and drains. Maintain cleanliness and stocking of maintenance storage areas. Clean and maintain all windows, lamps, mirrors and light fixtures. Clean and maintain wood floors, walls, tile and carpets. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all restroom areas, including restocking of supplies. Dust all wood and fixtures. Polish all brass plates, rails and hardware. Clean ceiling fans, air intakes and HVAC air vents. Clean mats. Empty trash and maintain all trash cans. Clean back dock area. Assist other Team Members as needed or when business demands. Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company Team Members to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate. Be friendly, smile, and maintain a professional demeanor during days, nights, and weekends. Communicate promptly with Guests and Team Members. Be disciplined and self‑motivated. Dress in accordance with company guidelines, looking neat, clean and professional at all times. Have at least 18 years of age. Previous maintenance experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred. Physical Demands Work days, nights and/or weekends as required. Work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment with distracting conditions. Read and write handwritten notes. Lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Move about the facility and stand for long periods of time. Walk or stand 100% of the shift. Reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently.
